an Office —  A Garden designs spaces for people.  With a focus on social, cultural, and environmental sustainability, the studio is interested in how buildings can contribute to the well-being of both people and places. 

The studio is directed by Cam Fullmer.  Collaborators include Valentin Abend, Matthew Brubaker, Mark-Henri Decrausaz, Lydia Xynogala, and KUTONOTUK.

Cam Fullmer, director

Cam is a designer and a Lecturer at the University of Virginia School of Architecture.  He holds a Masters degree in Architecture from Columbia University GSAPP and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from UVa. Before starting an Office —  A Garden, Cam worked at OMA and FOOD New York, and has had work featured in PIN-UP, Dezeen, MIT Press, Architectural Record, and at the 2021 Venice Biennale in collaboration with the Arctic Design Group and Lateral Office.  His work in collaboration with ASA North and Hobgood Architects received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture (2022) and Dezeen’s Building of the year (2022) by popular vote.
